NEWS AND EVENTS

* In May, 2006, Martin Bygate, Professor of Educational Linguistics at the University of Lancaster (UK), will be visiting us as a guest research academic. He will be teaching a seminar on the Pedagogy of the Spoken Language. (TAKEN PLACE)

* Between the 26^th and the 30^th of March, 2007, Eddie Williams, Senior Lecturer of English at the University of Bangor (Wales), will be visiting us as a guest research academic. He will be teaching a seminar on the pedagogy of reading: “Teaching, testing and research in reading”. (TAKEN PLACE)

* In November, 2007, Professor Ventola, from the University of Helsinki, will be visiting us as a guest research academic. He will be teaching a seminar on questions related to Genre Analysis.

* From the 10th to the 13th September 2008, the University of Santiago de Compostela is holding the First International Conference on English Language Teaching and Learning (ICELTL1) organised by the research team of the SULEC project.
